Rebranding as Cooking ChannelEdit

On October 8, 2009 (2009-10-08) Scripps Networks announced that in the fall of 2010, Fine Living Network will be re-branded as Cooking Channel. It will have content similar to Food Network. The channel will "deliver more content focused on baking, ethnic cuisine, wine and spirits, healthy and vegetarian cooking and kids foods." The re-branded channel will offer standard definition, high definition and video on demand programming.[1] The schedule was later changed and now the rebranded channel will premiere May 30, 2010 (2010-05-30), Memorial Day.
